Anti-Poverty Advocates Launch mobile "Bushville" in Prelude to RNC protests
New Jersey- July 16 - The Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign will initiate a month long campaign linked to the Republican National Convention by launching their mobile “Bushville” tent city to protest the economic policies of the current Administration. “Bushville” is designed to highlight poverty and economic injustice in America.
The Campaign is preparing for a series of activities including impromptu demonstrations, food distributions, human rights monitoring and documentation, voter education and registration. This is all in preparation for their "March for Our Lives" at Republican National Convention at 4pm on August 30th in front of the United Nations.
