Tenncare enrollees in wheelchairs occupy the Governor's office A representative of the Governor listens as the enrollees and their supporters give him a list of their demands. Lori Smith, PPEHRC member, reads the demands aloud. She is told that the Governor is not in. After spending several nights in the capitol, enrollees are visited by a doctor. Glen Barnhill, a Tenncare enrollee, has spent every day in the capitol. He cannot sleep there overnight, however, because the Governor will not allow his nurse to come in to adjust his ventilator. From inside the capitol, the enrollees and their supporters can see the crowd holding a candlelight vigil outside. Vigils are held there nearly every night.
