enrollees in wheelchairs occupy the Governor's office |
A
representative of the Governor listens as the enrollees and their
supporters give him a list of their demands. |
 |
 |
| Lori
Smith, PPEHRC member, reads the demands aloud. She is told that the
Governor is not in. |
After
spending several nights in the capitol, enrollees are visited by a
doctor. |

 |
| Glen
Barnhill, a Tenncare enrollee, has spent every day in the capitol.
He cannot sleep there overnight, however, because the Governor will
not allow his nurse to come in to adjust his ventilator. |
From
inside the capitol, the enrollees and their supporters can see the
crowd holding a candlelight vigil outside. Vigils are held there nearly
every night. |
